Dynamic Process:
1. (Desi) I recommend marketing but you could also select collaboration or another process. Dynamic Process is a collection of activities or tasks without a predetermined sequence of execution. The dynamic process that we will be working on is marketing.
2. (Desi) Daiichi Sankyo uses LinkedIn to network with pharmaceutical students for hiring purposes and share their own relevant data such as; research studies, with doctors and hospitals to provide effectiveness of their oncology portfolio.

4. (Lauren) Social capital refers to the value of a company's social network, which can provide shared resources and be extremely beneficial for any organization. Despite having a relatively small presence in the U.S., Daiichi Sankyo's large global network provides them with decent social capital. Though as expected, Daiichi Sankyo doesn't have a significant social media following since they supply directly to hospitals and pharmacies.
5. (Lauren) An Enterprise Social Network (ESN) is a private internal social network that allows employees within a company to communicate efficiently. Enterprise 2.0 refers to the use of Web 2.0, which is a developed stage of the internet that uses more user-generated content, and technologies that are added to an ESN to improve communication and build a stronger network. SLATES is an acronym that stands for the essential components of communication. It includes Search (keyword searches), Links, Authoring (creating and publishing), Tags (keywords and labeling), Extensions (add-ons), and Signals (notifications and alerts). Daiichi Sankyo utilizes all of these SLATES approaches on its website to improve functionality.
6. (Nick) Daichi Sankyo has addressed SMIS security concerns by having a designated Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in charge of information management and also by establishing a global policy on information security applicable to all its Group companies. In recent years, increasing cyber threats have caused the company to establish an information security management system based on the International Standard for Organization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). This system is operated under the leadership of the CISO and is monitored 24 hours a day with the cooperation of external security partners. They set a system in place where incidents are promptly handled by the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), whose purpose is to respond appropriately to cyber threats when they occur.
They have all employees adhere to the Daiichi Sankyo Group Employee Code of Conduct; as well as Information Security Guidelines and the Information Management Guidelines, which are practical operational guidelines on how to appropriately manage information. Employees are reminded and trained to be made aware of these guidelines on a consistent basis. They also are provided reminders about targeted email attacks and other cyber threats.
The Daiichi Sankyo Group defines “risks” as those factors that may prevent it from achieving its goals and targets and that can be predicted in advance. We take appropriate measures against risks inherent in our corporate activities through retaining, reducing, avoiding, and transferring these risks; should risks materialize, we promote risk management to minimize impacts on people, society, and the Group itself.
There is the risk of serious legal violations at the individual level, including personal misconduct of executives and employees. Risk management to prevent inappropriate actions by employees includes the following:
-They monitor business operations to detect inappropriate activities as early as possible
-They prevent violations through strict compliance with laws and regulations and through educational and awareness
-raising activities
